F. Kenneth’s Poetry & Art
I'm from St. Louis, MO, 44, and have 3 god-daughters, ages 8, 22, and 26. I graduated Normandy H.S. in 1993, joined the Air Force in 1995, deployed to Atlanta, GA in 1996 as a member of a Military Security JTF for the 1996 Olympics. I attended St. Louis Community Clg. from 1996 to 1998 studying Black History and Commercial Art. In 2004, I moved to Chicago, IL to attend Universal Technical Institute (U.T.I) and earned a Diploma of Automotive Repair and Technology in 2005, at which time I moved back to St. Louis, MO. Since 2001, I've devoted myself and diligently pursued writing on a serious level. I have a deep-seeded passion for writing and know, without doubt, that's what I was meant to do. I practice versatility as a writer by writing in multiple genres and styles, to prevent placing limitations upon myself as well. Currently, I have 7 published books, I've done radio, magazine, and internet interviews, I spoke at a local St. Louis, MO school in 2015 for Black History Month, I was nominated by AVADEWORLD and The St. Louis Star Awards for 2015 Author of the Year, and I'm the Creator/Owner of Some'n Unique Magazine, LLC. Other interests includes; Drawing/painting, traveling, exercising, working on cars, spending time with family, friends, and god-daughters, soulful music, shooting pool, and hosting social gatherings
