POETRY: Almost

I wrote this in Nov. 2009, just a lil’ something about not letting love slip away. Hope you enjoy it!

We almost lost it,
Our moment,
It seems like yesterday,
Don’t it?

We almost held back,
Fought it,
I’m so glad we didn’t,
So glad we caught it

We almost walked away,
Ran astray,
Traveled different roads,
Let our souls bear the cold

We almost let it go,
Melt like snow,
We almost missed it,
Denied it,
Tried to hide it,
We almost. . .
Didn’t fall in love

Thanks for your support!

  1. I rarely create responses, however i did some searching and wound up here POETRY:
Almost | F. Kenneth Taylor. And I do have 2 questions for you if it’s allright.
Is it simply me or does it look like some of the remarks appear like they are written by brain dead visitors?

😛 And, if you are posting on other social sites, I’d like to keep up with everything fresh you have to
post. Could you make a list of the complete urls of all your shared sites like
your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

    1. Move To Hawaii,

Thank you for taking time to visit my site, share your thoughts, and take an interest in my work; I truly appreciate it & you are more than welcome to follow, just google my name.

However, I would really appreciate it if would not openly insult other visitors, as it can have a negative effect on my long-time followers, as well as newcomers such as yourself. I just ask for a little courtesy & respect for others who choose to share their thoughts as well. Thank you
